However, in brief: successful applicants for this full-time, permanent
role will, after appropriate induction and training, service the portable fire
fighting equipment at our customers’ sites and supply or recommend goods
and/or services as required (predominantly by the relevant British
Standard,
BS 5306, although other standards and
legislation can also apply).
Inherent to the job is a high level of sales of goods and services,
upon which the successful applicants will earn commission.
Our

for this role sets out those qualities we regards as being either
essential or desirable.In brief we’re looking, first and foremost, for go-getters.
Applicants must be excellent communicators with a proven track record in
sales and of achieving performance objectives.
Applicants must also be numerate and hold a full current driving
licence valid in the UK.
Experience in a self-managed role is also highly desirable.
Applicants need not have any experience in this trade, although this,
or any other fire-safety or health & safety experience, knowledge or
qualifications would be advantageous.
The package offered is amongst the best in the trade for successful
engineers.

comprises a basic salary, supplemented by
commission. Successful candidates should relish the opportunities of
such a salary structure.
At the time of writing, the Company offers an excellent holiday package starting at 28 days, and increasing to 38 days after length of service. This holiday entitlement is inclusive of bank and public holidays.

Of course, as part of the role, the Company provides all tools and
materials required, including a fully funded well-specified Company van,
smart phone, specialist tools, etc.

Induction & Training section.
Typically, the first four to six weeks of employment will be spent
undertaking induction training and formal independent examination.
Potentially, these stages can be anywhere in Great Britain, although is
typically predominantly near one of our regional centres and the employees’ own
patch.
The employee will then be able to perform the job
unaccompanied. Needless to say, we provide a layer of support and are
always on hand in these early stages. This together with our stringent
quality control regime helps ensure our staff work to the highest
standards right from the outset.
Beyond this, further training is also provided on an ad-hoc basis with a
view of further refining the successful candidate’s performance and
introducing and familiarising them to our other products and services.
