This document is broken
down into the following sections:
Fire Extinguisher Sales & Service Engineer.
Full time, permanent.
Highly competitive package consisting of basic salary made up with generous commission scheme
and other benefits as set out
here.
Based from home, located as per role-specific details and typically based
near good regional road networks. The employee will ‘cover’ a geographic
territory as defined by the Company, and subject to change. Currently,
territories usually have a ‘weighted-centre’ located where we seek the
candidate. The employee will typically be the only Fire Extinguisher
Sales & Service Engineer to ‘cover’ this territory.
It is clearly in the Company’s interest for engineers to keep working
in their own territories wherever practicable. However, whilst not usually a large part of the job
for most territories, there may be occasions
when it is necessary to work away from home for periods of time.
Particular attention is drawn to the early stages of the
induction process during which the employee
may have to be based away from home Monday to Friday, although rarely
for more than three weeks.
Additionally, whilst not the norm, working away from home, with the
necessary overnight stays away that that entails, is an implicit part of
the role for some unusual territories due to the geographic spread of
work. In these atypical cases the Company will typically try to seek to
resolve the problem where possible through acquisitions or subsequent
territory reorganisation.
